Although we are unable to have our face-to-face meetings, we can still take part in a wide variety of scouting activities at home!

The UK Scout Association have provided a resource hub for our sections from Beavers to Explorers to get stuck in and maintain their scouting skills and knowledge. These resources can be found here


Merseyside Scouts have introduced the #Cre8challenge, which is a series of 7 challenges over 8 weeks. These challenges followed these themes:

  • Creativity
  • Commuinity
  • Wellbeing
  • Outdoor and Adventure
  • Beliefs and Attitude
  • Fitness
  • Global

Week One

The challenge this week is to produce the Cre8 Challenge badge and share via social media to Merseyside Scouts your designs. The winning design will be made and distributed across the county to award participation in the Cre8 Challenge. An example can be found here: Cre8Challenge Week One

Week Two

The challenge this week is to spread a message of happiness around your community through a range of messaging techniques. Whether that is through video chat or letters. Show us how you are spreading positivity from your own home! The challenge can be found here: Cre8Challenge Week Two

Week Three

This week we will be focusing on Health and Wellbeing, we understand that this has been a challenging few weeks and everyone is facing different hurdles and we hope these activities can be inspiring and helpful. The challenge is the first activity on both activity pages listed below

Keeping our bodies and brains active is so important and I’m sure so many of you have been busy playing in your outdoor spaces and going on local walks or bike rides. This week is all about finding new and exciting ways of keeping active and work towards some badges too!
